Learning Through Play

At New Abhinava Public School, our Pre-Primary curriculum is scientifically designed to transition children from rote learning to a vibrant, skill-based education. Early ELGA and EVS

Early ELGA & Early EVS (Literacy & Awareness)

We treat English not just as a subject, but as a vital skill. Our Early ELGA (English Language & General Awareness) program helps children read and speak fluently 1.5 times faster.

  • Literacy Focus: A Phonics-first approach helps children decode sounds and read words independently, while Whole Word Recognition boosts reading speed and fluency.
  • General Awareness (Early EVS): Concepts are taught through engaging themes (like "My Family", "Transportation"), making the world around them relatable and understandable.
  • Communication: Encouraging self-expression and vocabulary building through storytelling and group discussions.
Early Math Activities

Early Math (Numeracy)

Our mathematics curriculum, Early Math, moves beyond simple counting to build a deep, intuitive number sense using the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach.

  • Concrete Experience: Children use physical manipulatives and play-based activities to understand quantities and shapes.
  • Pictorial Representation: They learn to represent these physical quantities through drawings and pictures.
  • Abstract Thinking: Finally, they connect these concepts to abstract numbers and symbols, creating a strong mathematical foundation for the future.

Multi-Language Exposure

To strengthen linguistic skills and cultural connection, we introduce basic concepts in Kannada and Hindi. This early exposure helps children develop a strong foundation in multiple languages, enhancing their cognitive flexibility and communication abilities.

Socio-Emotional Growth
